Left of the Dial

Here's a short snippet of a radio interview I did with the Replacements in 1985. This was recorded backstage at the Bowery in Oklahoma City. Everyone was very drunk. When I or my friend Bill asked a question, the first response was usually, "fuck you!". Then Paul Westerberg would try to give us an answer. It was a good old time. In this clip they talk a little shit about Alex Chilton.

Crossed

Holy Crap! "Crossed" is one twisted comic book. This is almost your standard zombie apocolypse scenario, but these zombies are apparently smarter and hornier than the George Romero variety. Crossed is published by Avatar Press, written by Garth Ennis with artwork by Jacen Burrows.

Let's Drop the Big One...See What Happens

Here are a few scans from a 1955 civil defense pamphlet, with instructions for residents of Portland, Oregon in the case of a nuclear attack. Evacuees will find "reception areas" near Hood River, Sandy, Estacada, etc. I hope they'll be serving stiff drinks.

With God On Our Side

Here are a couple scans from the latest issue of The Umbrella Academy. The Dark Horse comic book is written by Gerard Way, with artwork by Gabriel Ba. The man on horseback is apparently "God", and he looks a lot like Bob Dylan.
